Grusha Kapoor who is making her comeback on TV as Kaikeyi with Star Plus’ show Siya Ke Ram recently aced an extremely impromptu scene which had her teaching the young Ram, Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughan.
The sequence involved Kaikeyi training the four princes’ the art of sword-fighting. The actress however confesses this to be an extremely tough scene to conquer.
Recollects Grusha, “I have swollen feet ever since I’ve shot for this sequence. The challenging part was that I had no prior preparation time for this scene and I had shoot for it on the spot. We even had a fight master helping us with the techniques on set so he kept guiding us right before every take. The end result was however very well conceived and shot. Everyone was applausing for the way I performed. This felt good especially because it is Kaikeyi who is teaching the four sons. The fight master gave me a pat on my back for the shot that it turned out to be and more importantly something that stayed back was when the four boys said that they were highly inspired by me.”
The actress also takes a moment to express her happiness on being able to have bagged an extremely strong character of Kaikeyi as her come back on TV after 5 long years
